Hello, dear readers!

In today's section of DIY I will tell you about unusual uses of Borax (household cleaning chemical), it has low toxicity and is considered safe for general household use. But be careful with Borax because it can be dangerous for children and pets. So keep it out of their reach.

Clean clogged drain
Use a funnel to shake down the drain 100 g of borax and then slowly pour 400 ml of hot water. Leave the mixture for about 15 minutes then rinse it with hot water. Repeat the procedure with the stubborn blockages.

Clean windows and mirrors
If you want your mirrors or windows clean you should try cleaning them with the clean sponge soaked in 2 tablespoons of borax dissolved in 600 ml of water.

Rub away the strong stains on the sink
Create a paste of 200 g of borax and 50 ml of lemon juice. Apply some paste on a cloth or a sponge and put/rub it on a stain, then rinse it with warm tap water.

Clean toilet
Scrub the toilet with a stiff brush with a solution of 100 g of borax to 4 liters of water. This is a good way to clean your toilet without having to worry about dangerous and unpleasant fumes.

Disinfect grinder for organic waste
In order to maintain more hygienic grinder pour 3 tbsp of borax into the drain every two weeks and leave it for one hour. Then turn the grinder and rinse it with hot water from the tap.
